| Oven baked seaweed fish fillet |
Another addictive CNY snack that I've managed to search through online is this oven baked seaweed fish fillet. Dahfa fish fillet is my all time favorite, anytime, anywhere!
I can just finished one whole pack at one seating while watching TV or playing phone games. Its very addictive. And I didn't know that it can be baked in the oven to give that crunchy texture! Wonderful! Perhaps my next project is just to baked it in oven to make it easier to chew! Else after almost finishing half of the pack, my mouth starts to feel kind of sore already.
So here's I am doing this little project while my kitty girl chatting and munching away, self-entertaining herself.
Ingredients:
- Seaweed sheets (I'm using the smaller pieces so that I don't have to cut it)
- Dahfa fish fillet (can be any brand)
- Egg white (to glue the popiah skin)
- Oil (enough for deep frying)
- Brush
Method:
- Fold 3 strips of fish fillet into half.
- Wrap with seaweed and seal it with egg white.
- Preheat oven at 140 degree celcius and baked the completed seaweed fish fillets for 10-15 mins or until it turned slightly golden brown.
- Leave it to cool for a few minutes before storing it in an airtight container.
